RaiTries: Makeup Favorites!

Hi guys!

Ok. I was planning on doing a "lipstick" blog instead of this one but my lips are crazy at the moment, they're chapped up and dry and aching so I won't be able to lip swatch, lip swatching is an essential part of a lipstick blog soooo yeah :( The thing is I wanted saturdays to be lipstick blog day but due to the sudden turn of events, I will do my all time makeup faves instead. 

I am planning to blog MONTHLY favorites but the things that I will be showing you for today are my ALL TIME favorite makeup products since I am new to the blogging "industry". But promise guys, I will start blogging my monthly faves starting November (maybe last week of the month or first week of December). 

The things I will be showing are my HOLY GRAIL items. These has worked well for my skin type, skin tone and my lifestyle. I just wanted to share them because these products might work well with you too. Most of the items are drugstore brands, very inexpensive. Some are highend ones...just a few though, I'm not a fan of bloggers who talk so much about highend products because...hello???? Ang mahal kaya nun and not locally available! I am currently on the hunt for the perfect local dupes for the highend products that i'll be showing you. You'll also see Korean brands ofcourse (Oh I love them).

Let's get started! 

1. Face

Revlon Colostay Foundation: P825.00, bought mine online tho for P550.00 (summersbeautyonlineshop)

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser Primer, P299.00

L.A. Girl PRO Conceal, concealer. I am not sure what the mall price is because I bought mine online for P245.00. Application is easy! Brush type. 

2. Cheeks

 

BYS Contour Trio Palette in the shade Sweet. The blush guys! Just the blush part :) Peach-y coral shades are always the best for my skin tone. BYS booths nationwide, P449.00

Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm, highlighters are not popular in the country maybe because of our weather (we "shine"naturally). They give you that glow and shimmer. It basically emphasizes special features of your face, the brow bone, cheeks, etc. I love this one because it's pigmented, you can't also over do it. This doubles as an eyeshadow too.

With flash. Imagine that in the high points of your cheeks. JLo is that you? 

Beautybar, P950.00 (not sure). Bought mine for P830.00 from hotfindsmanila (online)

Dear Darling Tint of Etude House, my go to lip and cheek tint. Leave anything but this. P245.00 (basta not more than 300php) at any Etude House store. 

3. Brows 

BYS Eyebrow Definition Kit. The brown part. It's pigmented and I got the right shade (check out my blog). BYS booths, P399.00

4. Lids

Etude House Dreaming Swan Shine Volumer. The formula, the packaging and the applicator are great! This one is a good product in general :) I don't do much eyeshadow especially on the weekdays because I don't have the time and I don't want to over do it, this one gives me the right shimmer in the lids, so as not to keep my lids bare. Sadly, this is limited edition but I think you can still get these at fashiondollhouse, legit seller of Korean Cosmetics, P374.00 each. Clap clap clap for the packaging.

5. Lashes 

Maybelline Hyper Curl Volume Express Mascara. The best by far :) I don't have much mascara so there's not much to compare it with but this doesn't give me the spider-feet lashes at all so I'm still sticking to this one. It also lasts all day. Maybelline booths, P199.00 (I think they're currently on sale, P150.00 only, hurry!)

6. Lips  

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (SMLC) in Zurich. I love these kinds of brown-nude. I have 8 NYX SMLC and this one is my fave. P280.00 at Girllabph (online). NYX doesn't have a physical store in Pampanga

I hate to show this one guys because it's a limited edition and it is costly! Miami Fever by Ofra Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in collaboration with Kathleen Lights. Kathleen Lights is my all time favorite Youtuber (She's a beauty guru). Her sunny disposition and funny/honest quirks just gets me drawn into her. 

 Ofra Cosmetics recently collaborated with Kathleen to produce this BEAUTIFUL Liquid Lipstick. It's so hard to find something of this shade. I will do a separate blog about Ofra Liquid Lipsticks. This brand needs a separate blog because it is so AMAZING...like 101-over-100-amazing. 

From Glamoubox, P850.00 (I don't think it is still available but if it is just grab one!) 

MAC in Ruby Woo (Retro Matte). My first ever MAC lipstick. This is my baby. No other red can be as glamorous and as long wearing as this one. It's the best!

Maybelline Warm Me Up (# 235). If I am pulling off a dramatic eye...this is the perfect pink-nude lipstick. Application is smooth and formula is rich and creamy :) Sophistication is the word! 

That's it guys! It's so hard to choose especially the lip products! The makeup items shown are my go to things ;) These are the "reliable ones". I often reach for these if I'm in a lazy mood or if I'm pressed for time to prepare. I suggest that you try out few makeup products first before buying them in bulk. For example, try one brow kit first then explore and play with it and if you think that you can have better or if that product doesn't really suit you then that's the time to explore. And if you have found your match...stick to that! :) Always be careful when you buy online, make sure to watch or search for swatches especially for foundations, blushes and lip products, shades on pictures can be deceiving. As for me...I love exploring. Downfall is...I spend money on the things that don't really suite me (again...hit or miss).
