Empties: YAY or NAY!

Hi Guys!

We're doing something different today. Basically I will be showing you TRASHES hehehe. Lately, I have been obsessed with Youtubers featuring their monthly EMPTIES. Well, what they do is they show beauty related products that they finished either last month or last 3 months, etc. As they show each empty bottle/container/tube, they give you brief reviews, will they repurchase? Or are they just finishing it up ? And that is what I am thrilled about!

You get short insights/reviews about the product in a snap! You get 10 (or more) reviews in a video! I mean, we don't always have the time to watch a 30-minute review for a mascara or a face mask right?

So yeah, let's begin!

Yup! Sucked the life out of this thing. I finished one tube of The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam in ACEROLA! The scent of this one is the best! And it's for all skin types.
YAY or NAY??? definitely a YAY but will I repurchase, probably not just cause I want to try other facial washes too. It was hard to finish this one!

This one is easy. It's the Kojic with Gluta Soap of UNI. I finish 3 boxes in a month, seriously. It's the most effective whitening soap I have ever tried. BUT this thing melts fast and it is very very drying, you can literally write on my arm due to dryness.
YAY or NAY??? a big YAY. Will I repurchase? Yes of course. I actually have 4 boxes on stock. You'll find this in the grocery rack one second and the next, it's gone!

To counteract the dryness I get from the Kojic soap, I use the NIVEA Intensive Moisture Body Milk. This is specially designed for dry to very dry skin.
YAY or NAY??? It's a YAY! It's the best lotion I have tried. Will I repurchase? Yes, I'll buy the biggest bottle maybe.

I also finished a humongous bottle of the LANDER Soothing Body Lotion (yes, I'm a lotion addict). I bought this mid last year to sooth the heavy sun burnt skin I had form a beach getaway (with my college bestfriends, whoo!). The experience brought tremendous joy and sunburn! This did helped though. It has a cooling effect on the skin. But it is extremely sticky.
YAY or NAY??? YAY but will I repurchase...not anymore.

Finished an Isopropyl Alcohol form Band-Aid. No needed explanation, really. This is a staple in every home.
YAY or NAY??? MEH, currently using the Biogenic Alcohol at the moment, the scent better than this one.

Also done with the Victoria's Secret Body Mist in Amber Romance. It smells straight up VANILLA and you know I love those kinda scents. Vanilla scented lipstick (YAY), Vanilla scented candle (YAY), vanilla ice cream (OK, that's out of topic but definitely a YAY). I LOOOOOOVE vanilla scents.
YAY or NAY??? Need to ask still? YAY! Will I repurchase? Yes!

The Belo Essentials Whitening Anti-antiperspirant roll on, This is probably my 15th bottle, I travel a lot that's why I always buy the small one. YAY or NAY??? YAY! Will I repurchase? Yes, it does the job.

I finished this one July last year but I thought...yeah, I'd still include this one :) The Face Shop Lovely Me-ex BB Cream. I already did a review on this one (http://raitries.blogspot.com/2015/11/raitries-faceshop-lovely-me-ex-bb-cream.html)
YAY or NAY??? YAY syempre! I have one that I'm currently using and a back up incase (crazy? I know!)

Finished the 1st one February 2015 and the second one July also last year. I finish this compact powder fast (quick realization) These were everything I had back then. I have one that I'm currently using at the moment and out of everything I have, I reach for this one most often. It's just so light weight. I have combination skin, having this is very handy.
YAY or NAY??? YAY!!!!

This is my first ever mascara. The Etude House Oh m'Eye Lash Mascara. It did nothing fantastic, the wand is so slim I tough it's perfect for the under eye lashes...but no. It can't pact a significant amount of mascara because the wand is sooo thin. I need a good performing mascara because I have a very sparse lashes,
YAY or NAY??? NAY. NO. NOT good. Na-ah!

I also finished one Hyper Curl Volume Macara of Maybelline. This is my holy grail, no wonder I finished one tube. I have the Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume open currently, but I have one on stock.
YAY or NAY??? YAY 100%.

Finished, well not really, but all of these are barely there, they're all dried up too. Decluttering my 5 Caronia Nail Polishes. Left to right: Regular colorless, Sun kissed, First Crush, On the Go and Golden Sun. On the Go is my 4th bottle already, I love anything teal on my nails.
YAY or NAY??? Some are YAY and some are NAY. What I don't like about Caronia is that it dries up fast. I have older nailpolishes and thy're still good. Another con is that the wand/applicator is too short to maximize all the products in there. But they're inexpensive...you get what you paid for.

I used a different camera huhuhu some pictures are blurred. I also destashed these nail polishes from random brands, these are all dried up, One from Chic in the shade American Plum (another staple color), second bottle is BK in Matte Black and last one from...I don't even know the brand but it's a sparkly glittery pink nail polish.
YAY or NAY??? Uhm NAY. Not a single shade left a mark on me, really.

So that's it Guys! Did you find this blog helpful? Should I do this more often? Tell me hehe. Just leave a comment below and give me your thoughts. In any way, I hope you find this helpful. Thanks for the time! :)

Always remember... BE BEAUTIFUL, BE YOU!

Eye Makeup MUST HAVE Brushes!

Hi Guys,

Yes...it's been a while :)

And as promised, here are my eye makeup MUST HAVE brushes. And to make everything easy (because I suck at describing)...let's have this picture for reference, thanks to Mr. Google (www.fahv.com)

Aside form lip color, eye makeup also makes a significant twist on your look. I really am enjoying different eye looks at the moment, just all those experimenting and blending excites me. And for those who love eye shadows, be it a single shadow or a palette, this might be helpful.

So yeah, without further chitchat, let's begin!

I don't really know what this is called but I consider this a base shadow brush, used to set the base eye shadow all over your lid. I use this to set my primer or concealer in the lid just so blending would be easy. Got this from Fashion 21, anything this shape does the job.

The Real Techniques Base shadow brush, but for me, it's the perfect blending brush. Its is tapered (has a dome shape tip), perfect for blending your crease shadow or blending in your outer v.

Next essential brush is something like this one from BH Cosmetics, it's the #119 brush. This is actually a face brush (detail brush) but I use it for my eye makeup haha. It's a paddle-like brush that gets on your crease and outer v so perfectly. Best for packing and blending eyeshadow.

I like to call this one my detail eye shadow brush. Its shape and point makes it perfect to apply "details" or colors that requires precise application. I use this on my lid and outer v. Glitters and shimmers are perfectly applied through this baby. By the way, this is the BH Cosmetics' #118

BH Cosmetics #122, it's a round brush. It's just a plain round eye tool. I think this is my "go-to" eye brush. I can blend, apply and detail using this brush alone. If I don't have the time and space whenever I travel, this alone? I'll live.

For your lower lash line? This is the one to call. The size is perfect for smudging and packing any lower lash eyes shadows. Well, mood mood din naman ang pag gamit ko nito :). Most of the time I don't feel like applying anything on my lower lash line.

That's basically it Guys! :) Hope you find this helpful, don't be afraid to play with eye makeup. It can be overwhelming, I know, but I believe that practice makes perfect.

Always remember....BE BEAUTIFUL, BE YOU!
