Sharing here THE best skincare, haircare, makeup products and tools of 2015. I missed out sharing my November and December favorite...but this would pretty much sum it up. These are the items I enjoyed for the whole year (2015). I have mixed things to share - from my haircare items to my skincare, to the makeup I really enjoyed and the tools that has given me so much help. These also vary from american highend, american drugstore, local brands and Korean Brands as well.
I will try to give "brief" reviews on the products. I will do a separate review on the items that I can't talk so much about (comment whatever product you want me to blog) and link the others that I did a review on. Because this blog will be super duper long of I do a full length review on each and every item.
Let;s begin!
1. Haircare products
Sunsilk Shampoo and Creamsilk Conditioner. This is, has and always been my hair duo. The smell and the effect on my hair? It's amazing!
Verdon Keratin Hair Spa. I substitute my conditioner with this one (blog worthy Guys! Wait for it)
Clareal Repair Hair Lotion. Just a repair setting spray for the hair, I love the scent and the effect of this one. Plus it's inexpensive, totally worth the hype!
2. Skincare products
I used up so many of this Kojic with Gluta Soap. It really brightens up my skin and maintains my complexion. This is a staple for me.
Nivea Body Milk Intensive Moisture - Kung gaano ka-oily ang face ko, ganun ka-dry ang arms and legs ko. The Kojic Soap tends to be a bit drying maybe because of its whitening effect but this counteracts that, it does the job of moisturizing my body.
Almost done with this huge tube. TheFaceShop Herbday 365 Cleansing Foam in Acerola (will blog about my skin care routine, abangan! :) )
Speaking of cleansing...The Biore Cleansing Oil to remove my makeup (http://raitries.blogspot.com/2016/01/raitries-biore-cleansing-oil.html)
You have seen this a hundred times in my blogs, I can't live without it. Best moisturizer ever. Snail Recovery Gel Cream by Mizon
More face products, the Belo Sun Expert Face Sunblock. It applies perfectly, doesn't have the "pool" scent and dries up fast, not sticky at all. Oh and yes, you need all that SPF.
When a pimple pops up...time to get help wit the Belo Acne Pro Pimple gel. Not endorsing Belo Guys, but these babies really does magic for me.
The Gel Hut Mun White Blackhead Remover (I will blog this one next! Excited to share this with you) No other blackheads remover....nothing would ever compare. I found the answer to life's black/whitehead problems.
Part of my night routine, HBC Petroleum Jelly. To soften my lips :)
3. Makeup Products
Primer. The Etude House Face Blur (wait for my review hehe)
For medium coverage days. TheFaceShop Lovely Me-Ex BB Cream (http://raitries.blogspot.com/2015/11/raitries-faceshop-lovely-me-ex-bb-cream.html)
For full coverage days. Torn between this and the Maybelline Dream Satin Skin (http://raitries.blogspot.com/2015/12/raitries-maybelline-dream-satin-skin.html) to be honest. But I reach for this more often, the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation (http://raitries.blogspot.com/2015/11/raitries-revlon-colorstay-liquid.html)
My LA Girl HD Pro Conceal. It may not be long wearing but I love it, the best in my stash at the moment. Got the perfect shade too, Light Ivory.
For finishing powder? My Nichido Final Powder in Creamy Glow. Finely milled powder, perfect for setting your foundation. Does not cake, relatively cheap and it does the job. I have no negative feedback for this one.
San San Waterproof Eyeliner Pen. This has changed my life when it comes to liquid liner application. Not "totally" satisfied but by far the best.
For the brows, the BYS Brow definition kit. Very very pigmented, couldn't ask for more.
Maybelline Hyper Curl Volume Express Mascara. Does not give me spider feet lashes, seperates my lashes evenly, does not irritate my eyes. Again, there are a lot to try but this is the best so far.
The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette (both the original and semi-sweet)
All Urban Decay Naked Palettes (Naked 3 is the best for me). If I am a palette, this will be me hahaha.
I have 2 products for eyeshadow palettes. I refrained from mentioning these because they're really expensive and they aren't locally available...but these babies need the acknowledgement. They are THAT GOOOOD! I suck at blending things in my eyes, but these are literally a no brainer. I think a four year old child can pull of a good eye look just by playing with them. The pigmentation, the color payoff, nothing compares. There are a lot of drugstore COLOR dupes...but the formula? I don't think there is any that could copy the formula and pigmentation of these. If you want me to talk about highend palettes on a separate blog, I'd love to do that (leave a comment). If you're really into makeup and you want to invest in a good palette, I suggest you check these out.
Milani Blushes especially Rose D' Oro. Love it!
BYS Contour Trio in Sweet. Peach blush!
Mary-Lou Manizer by the Balm for the highlighter
4. LIPSTICKS - This is freakishly haaaard!!! The swatch on TOP of every photo is the color.
Maybelline Color Sensational in Warm Me Up
Do me a favor, run to the nearest Watsons and buy one. Maybelline Color Show Matte Lipsticks
Got mine in Mysterious Mocha (first photo) and Lively Violet (second photo)
Mac in Retro Matte Ruby Woo. No questions ask. This is my perfect red.
This is insanely EXPENSIVE but I did it and I L-O-V-E it. The BEST. BEST I tell you. (ok relax Rai). This is NARS Audacious Lipstick in Raquel. This is my perfect nude, next to Maybelline Warm Me Up
Do me another favor, click this link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhRTI2LX5rE) and fall in love with Kathleenlights. HAHAHA you'll never regret watching her every video
I linked the video where she talked about her greatest (I think everything she does is great, seriously) creation, the Ofra Miami Fever. Still available in http://glamourbox.ph/ I think. I hope. Get one.
Maybelline Baby Lips in Berry Crush.
5. Tools - I will have a separate blog for all the brushes I use :) All prices and description will be included there.
For my Foundation application. I have the Mushroom Brush and the Real Techniques Buffing Brush
Real Techniques Sculpting Brush
Marionnaud Blush Brush
Real Techniques Contour Brush
My GIGANTIC Powder Brush (again, wait for the blog)
FS (Fanny Serrano) Pointed Crease Brush
Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
Real Techniques Angled Shadow Brush
Double Ended Marionnaud Brow Brush, It has a brow brush and a brow blender (I mean the comb thing for your brows)
Marionnaud Crease Brush
Brushegg Brush Cleaner :) Cleaning my tools has never been so easy and fun until I had this.
Ok this isn't beauty related but thought I should also include it haha Candle-lite Vanilla Cookie Holiday Candle
This smells so good. Anything that smells like cake and vanilla is made for me. MADE for me!!! I love it. This makes my room so good-smelling.
That's it Guys, in a nut shell, these are the products and items I reach for more often, have been loving and maybe can't live without. I really love watching and reading blogs about monthly and yearly favorites and I find them helpful. Again, sharing is caring :)
Always remember... BE BEAUTIFUL, BE YOU!
Lots and lots of Love,
Raisa
